Kaito turns out to be a hunter and student of Ging Freecss, a world-renowned hunter and Gon's apparently dead father. He later learns that is not the case when he is rescued by a stranger named Kaito. Gon Freecss is the main protagonist of Hunter X Hunter, a twelve year old boy left in the care of his aunt raised to believe his parents died in an accident when he was just a baby.
